Lubricant

BAROID UNIVERSAL is a vegetable oil based lubricant with extreme pressure characteristics and excellent salt tolerance designed to reduce rotational torque and wear in wire line coring operations. BAROID UNIVERSAL provides unique friction reduction capabilities in high angle above and below ground coring.

  • Can reduce drill rod torque and drag
  • Can lubricate metal to metal and metal to formation contact in narrow gauge holes
  • Can reduce heat and associated wear generated at bit face
  • Can increase tolerance of chemical contamination improving effectiveness when underground recirculated water is in use.
  • Can minimize potential for differential sticking
