BARA-BORE polymer blend is a combination of natural and synthetic polymers designed to provide viscosity, shale/clay inhibition and secondary filtration control in most water-based drilling fluids.

Applications and Functions

Helps provide supplementary viscosity in fresh water, sea water, and brine-based fluids
Helps retard shale swelling and disintegration
Assists in development of solids free drilling fluid

Advantages

Effective in fresh and/or salt water based fluids
Effective in small concentrations for viscosity and filtration control
Can be used with or without bentonite
Biodegradable
